Yeah, it was a beautiful night here warm, full moon, no bugs. I found out which ever way you turn the vortex, that is the way folks walk! Grin Grin It was so funny watching people leaning more the farther they walked. When they were in the spinning floor, we called it the dungeon, we would throw the door open and I would jump ion with my chainsaw in the leather face costume. That was a lot of fun.

Vts are a lot of fun, I can usually make it through them pretty well.
They had one at Universal and it was a good one, very
dizzy-ing (?), especially when there was two extra large people holding on to each other, waddelling  through the tunnel holding up the line!
I was starting to get really dizzy because we just couldn't walk through, had to stay in the thing like that was a little rough.
It was a damn tunnel and they were petrified?!

Yeah Hos I can see that happening. I turned mine on, got inside with the spray paint and walked sideways down the ramp painting as it turned. That was was a hell of a experience! Becky and my DD came home and saw me , they were like you crazy man! I didn't have the rails up yet. So it was a real challenge. I was just in a hurry. I do think the lines going straight across from one end to the other make a better effect. The sprial I made would kind of walk at you as you walked through it. But it didn't bother me that much. I read were Scary Terry said he went up and down, but that didn't do much so he added the long lines to his. He liked that. So I looked at a bunch of different ones on line. A lot of them had straight rows of dots are stars. One guy had alternating rows of small ghost. So I came back and added the line dots to it. That worked better, so maybe this will help if anyone wants to make one.

ah....those two extra large people were HAMM and I  !    lol.

That was Hamm's first vortex .....
now he wants one too.  lol.
I am already dizzy most of the time.
And yes....that is what I am experiencing when I have my days of dizziness.   NOT FUN  when its for real and constant !!!!
However....I just looked (focused) on the floor of the ramp....and was able to make it through without much problem.  ( less fun...but necessary.  lol)    Doesn't work when I am for real dizzy.

For the upteenth time.   I wish that I could come to your party.  You have such cool stuff.

Great pictures, brushe! There's a few people in those pics I don't recognize.  Smiley  You and Becky must be worn out after setting up that huge display.
Your vortex tunnel looks really cool! How hard is that to build?
I like the "Deer Hunter" too!
Excellent job!

Well Dave it took me a day to build it. Then another day to get the steps lights and paining done. I took it down this mourning in about a hour and half. I could set it back up in 2 hours though. It was a experiment. I didn't feel I had the time to do the big one, which I was right. It would have never got up and running. This one was 13 feet. But it is really simple. and most of was scrape. Glad you liked the pictures.

Well, your right, Brushe.   Can't  M & T a votex.  But I was hopin that Mistress Becky liked our area of Florida  and considers movin to somewhere around here.    And yes, MY FAMILY WOULD LOVE to have that in my back yard !   So bring it on down while you look for a place to live!   lol ...
I know a good Realtor....or if you let me know what your looking for...
hee hee.   I can be your best scout.
Wanna come for T-Day?  Casual affair.  Small family.  At a terrific local park  with the pavillion right on the river.  Bocci ball, croquet, frizbee, fishing.   I want a fun t-day.  Tired of the formal tradition competing with Publix commerical day.  There will be fried turkey.
Bring a covered dish and byob and your in like flynn.

That's not a bad idea. Instead of a "Make + Take", we all show up at one member's house with all the materials to build one huge prop that would stay at that house permanently. Kind of like an Amish barn raising.
We could call it "Haunts for Humanity"!   Cheesy
I'm in!

That is a good idea about everyone working to build someone a a prop. Everyone would learn a lot more doing it. So maybe if someone is looking to build something they are not sure about and post it. We could figure it out and organize to go do it. Coda you could be t first! Of course you would have to feed everyone! Wink

Well I have been trying to remember everything I saw  last year when I planed this years haunt.  I have been looking through threads trying to find the post where I told you guys about it.  Found it this mourning it Noremorse Cemetery 09. So I am posting it here so it will be easier to find. But I am getting close.

I am sure they are fascinated with it. I know what we see on here doesn't do justice to what it is like to be standing there with it. My haunt has doubled in size for 3 years now. This year I added some scary to it along with the fun stuff. Well everyone just couldn't believe it. I had a dream last night about next years haunt. It was complete with props I mean to tell you. I am going to Raccoon City! One prop will be a zombie pulling up and down at these stretchy intestines. These I will take a slider glass and make a hall with a lab scene behind. I will have a pop up and hit the glass and mash her face on it. Then In another hall, when the door I will set a beam breaker. It will trigger a strobe and 10 to 15 zombies with the loud zombie sounds. I think the lights and noise and the mass size of the zombies should be a good scare. You know there will be a dog. I started him this year already. At the end I will have that big guy just standing there. But then the loud sound of machine gun fire. I wonder if they will duck when he opens up? Well what do you think?

Sounds awesome, Brushe! I hope you can get it all going just like you have it in your head. It sounds like a really good set of scares.

I hope it will all work out. It really feels kind of funny now. Because everything I build is all related. But once I start work on the haunt instead of the props. I will be ok.
